  1. Great quotes and I hope that what these people have said make each of us find way to inspire children of today's society.

  2. I really like the quote by William Clinton regarding power and the power of example. It is so applicable in life for all ages.It is one of those that you want to paint on a plaque and hang in your house or office as a reminder.

  3. I also liked Clinton's quote! It reminds me why he was in office for so long. I agree with him that working together is more important than our differences.

Marian Write edelmen's quote reminds me of a line from The Help where the nanny always reminded the little girl that she was loved and important.

  4. President Clinton's quote about how our differences matter, but our common humanity matters more is among my favorite of the many wise thoughts he shared with the country.

Marian Wright Edelman is a woman I admire very much. She has a way of leaving no doubt that she truly cares about children just with her words. Of course, her actions speak volumes about that love and caring. I believe no child can be told enough, and never too much, that they are loved.

  5. Antowah,

I used the same quote by Marian Wright Edelman. It really touched me because I am a firm believer that communication with our children is so very important. They need to hear how much we love and care about them, and that they can count on us. Developing a healthy relationship with children helps them feel safe and secure.
